Meet the Team: Anna Seymour-Pugh

Meet Anna, Zevero's Sustainability Analyst. She joined the Zevero team through the acquisition of Inhabit in January 2026, bringing hands-on reporting expertise and a sharp eye for what actually moves organisations from measuring emissions to acting on those insights. When she's not building out client sustainability programmes, Anna is going on epic hikes—her favorite being the Atlas Mountains in Morocco—and always bringing a cheerful smile to the office.

Tell us a bit about your background.

I grew up in Nottingham, and now live in East London. I studied Geography in university. My previous work experience involved Sustainability Consulting focused on supporting clients in achieving green building certifications.

How has the transition into Zevero been for you, and what excites you about being part of the team?

It has been great. It's been a really smooth transition joining Zevero, and it's great to be part of a larger team with more expertise and service offerings. It's been exciting to see the capabilities of the platform and how it helps automate a lot of the work associated with sustainability reporting, allowing clients to focus on actioning change.

What’s a skill, mindset, or habit that helps you succeed in your role?

To do lists and lots of them!!

What sustainability trend, technology, or policy shift are you keeping an eye on right now?

I'm keeping an eye on the EU’s new directive on greenwashing to empower consumers (ECGT). This will certainly impact corporate sustainability reporting, and especially B Corp recertification.

What’s a small but powerful sustainability practice you think every organisation should adopt?

Organisations should keep one major principle in mind: transparency over perfection. Being open and honest both internally and externally, helps everyone to learn and make more responsible choices.

What’s your go-to coffee/matcha order?

Flat white - cant go wrong!

If you weren’t doing your current job, what would you be doing instead?

Hopefully I'd be a prima ballerina (haha), or maybe a ballet teacher.

One song that always boosts your mood?

If you could swap roles with anyone at Zevero for a day, who would it be and why?

I'd love to swap roles with a software developer so I can understand the inner workings of what makes the Zevero platform function behind the scenes.

Outside of work, what do you love spending time on?

Outside of work, you can find me doing ballet, hiking, and being outside in nature whenever I can!
