LONDON, 17 December 2025 — Zevero, a leading provider of AI-powered climate insights and expert-led decarbonisation, and Emidat, a global platform for Environmental Product Data (LCAs and EPDs), today announced a strategic partnership to make verified, standard-aligned EPDs faster and easier for manufacturers to produce at scale.
Demand for credible product-level environmental data is rising across industries as organisations compete for tenders, supply global buyers, and respond to growing sustainability expectations. However, traditional EPD development often involves lengthy data collection, complex life cycle modelling, and extended verification cycles, making the process slow and resource-intensive.
By combining Emidat’s advanced digital infrastructure with Zevero’s sustainability expertise and global delivery capability, the partnership establishes a streamlined pathway for EPD development. The integrated workflow improves data quality and consistency while accelerating verification, enabling EPDs to be completed in weeks rather than several months.
Advancing product-level transparency
EPDs are becoming an essential tool for communicating environmental performance: they inform building certifications, procurement decisions, supply chain reporting, and investor assessments. Regulatory developments such as the EU’s Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and Digital Product Passports (DPP) are increasing the need for high-quality, verified product data.
Verification remains one of the most challenging stages of EPD development, with incomplete or inconsistent datasets often triggering repeated review cycles. The Zevero–Emidat collaboration addresses this by ensuring data is complete, structured, and methodologically aligned from the start. Automated modelling, standardised templates, and expert oversight minimise revisions and shorten project timelines.
“Many manufacturers want to share credible product data but are held back by the time and complexity involved," said Shigeo Taniuchi, CEO of Zevero. “Our partnership with Emidat creates a clearer, faster path to producing verified EPDs. Together, we’re making high-quality product information more accessible and scalable. Most importantly, making it easier for organisations to reduce the impact of their products.”
Strategic focus on Asia-Pacific
As part of the global partnership, Zevero and Emidat are placing particular importance on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, where adoption of product-level environmental data is accelerating across construction, materials, retail, and consumer goods. Zevero will serve as Emidat’s exclusive delivery partner in APAC, leading regional implementation and customer engagement. This approach ensures organisations in the region access EPD capabilities through a consistent delivery model that combines Emidat’s digital infrastructure with Zevero’s local expertise and on-the-ground support.
The collaboration will introduce localised workflows, region-specific templates, and language support (including Japanese), alongside training and advisory services to build regional capacity. Initial efforts will focus on the construction industry, which accounts for approximately 30% of global emissions.
“Partnering with Zevero allows us to deliver a more seamless, scalable EPD experience for manufacturers globally,” said Lisa Oberaigner, Co-founder and CEO of Emidat. “Their advisory strength and on-the-ground presence in Asia-Pacific make it possible to meet the region’s fast-growing demand for trusted product information.”
A foundation for long-term industry progress
The partnership establishes a framework for continued collaboration, including expansion into new product categories, further localisation for key markets, and joint initiatives to deepen industry understanding of EPDs and life cycle assessment. As expectations around product transparency continue to rise, Zevero and Emidat are aligned in helping manufacturers deliver reliable, verifier-ready environmental data with greater speed and confidence.
