Most carbon reporting starts in a spreadsheet. It's fine, but it doesn't always scale in the way you need it to.
Most companies still rely on spreadsheets and a sustainability consultant to measure their emissions. Or for some companies they manage their data internally. For the most part, that might work, but it brings up a lot of challenges we've built a system around fixing.
What happens when the person who owned the spreadsheet leaves the company? When you're looking for an audit trail of who uploaded data and what file they got it from? Or perhaps, you need more granularity for your scope 3 emission data, and thousands of records and a system to track it all can't live on only a spreadsheet.
In this session we'll go through a live demo of the Zevero platform and how we combine both technology and people to create a model that works.
We will cover:
- What spreadsheets do well, and why teams are right to start there
- How to get your data into the Zevero platform and keeping your old data
- A demo of the Zevero platform and our granular breakdowns
- solving the challenges of scalability, audit control and how to manage data and emission factors
Whether you are at the limit of your spreadsheet or partway through building something internally, you will leave knowing what a move actually involves.
