My journey into sustainability began at the age of 15 when I decided to go vegan after watching the documentary, "Cowspiracy." It opened my eyes to the significant impact individuals can have on the environment. I delved deeper into research and watched numerous pro-environmental documentaries, which solidified my desire to make a difference.
Since then, I have focused my educational and professional choices on building a strong foundation in sustainability and climate change. While my personal views have evolved, and I am no longer vegan — because I believe I can make a bigger impact working with companies rather than focusing on individual action — I have remained passionate about sustainability for nearly a decade. I love that I’m still learning new things every day.
What I love most about my role at Zevero is working with clients who genuinely want to make a difference. It's so refreshing to see companies that are truly committed to sustainability and eager to take real action. Their enthusiasm and dedication make my job rewarding and inspiring every day.
Riding a Lime bike to work in the sun!
“I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do.”
I’d recommend watching True Detective Season 1. In my opinion, it's the best standalone season of a TV series ever created.
My first job was at a kennel when I was 14. My main task was shovelling dog poo (which wasn’t exactly glamorous!) for £3 an hour. However, it definitely taught me the value of hard work!
You can find me at Princess May Car Boot Sale in Dalston, probably enjoying an oat latte!
Geographical landforms. My mom was a geography teacher, and I studied geography at university, so most of our family holidays turned into lessons on the surrounding landforms.
My favourite task so far has been working with clients to set emission reduction targets and goals. It’s really exciting to see the positive progress being made!
